26 Treasures at the Ulster Museum – 2011
What would the Ulster Museum’s most precious objects say if they could speak? It’s a question that 52 of Northern Ireland’s most successful poets, writers, artists, designers and photographers have asked as part of a new project called 26 Treasures at the Ulster Museum. 26 writers were paired with 26 artists to take a fresh look at some of the greatest treasures housed in the Ulster Museum’s collections. Mark collaborated with writer Glenn Patterson to create a response to the mummy ‘Takabuti’ and her coffin.
The exhibition ran in The Belfast Room at the museum from 14th October – 14th November 2011 during the Belfast Festival at Queen’s.
